Western blotting: 1:500~1:1000
- other_names:
- CKR5; CD195; CKR-5
- Purification:
- Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic peptide and KLH conjugates. Antibodies were purified by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific peptide.
- Specificity:
- The antibody detects endogenous level of total CCR5(CD195) protein.
- Background:
- Receptor for a number of inflammatory CC-chemokines including MIP-1-a, MIP-1-beta and RANTES and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ion level. May play a role in the control of granulocytic lineage proliferation or differentiation. Acts as a coreceptor (CD4 being the primary receptor) for HIV-1 R5 isolates.
