Description
- Swiss-Prot No.:
- Swiss-Prot#: Q16555;
NCBI Gene#: 1808;
NCBI Protein#: NP_001377.1.
- Form of Antibody:
- Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
- Storage:
- Store at -20˚C/1 year
- Immunogen:
- Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of threonine 509 (S-V-T(p)-P-K) derived from Human CRMP-2.
- other_names:
- CRMP2; N2A3; TOAD-64; DPYL2; ULIP2
- Purification:
- Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates. Antibodies were purified by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. Non-phospho specific antibodies were removed by chromatogramphy usi
- Specificity:
- The antibody detects endogenous levels of CRMP-2 only when phosphorylated at threonine 509.
- Background:
CRMP-2 is an enzyme with dihydropyrimidinase activity. Plays a role in RhoA-dependent signaling, through interaction with and regulation of Rho kinase. Plays a role in neurogenesis. Aberrantly expressed in fetal Down syndrome brain.
